Embedded engagements
Embedded. Building. Gone in weeks — capability stays.
Most AI consulting ends with a deck. Billbee embeds inside your organization, learns how the work actually happens, and ships systems your team runs after we leave.
The gap we close
You don’t have an AI problem. You have a translation problem.
Executives have seen the demos. The technology is capable. What’s missing is someone who knows your operation deeply enough to pick the right workflow first, build inside your compliance reality, and understand why the last initiative stalled after the pilot.
Platform vendors sell you software and leave you to find the fit. Consultancies sell you a roadmap and leave you to find a builder. Neither sits inside your organization long enough to make anything real.
Billbee is the third option: an operator who builds.
The model
Embed. Build. Transfer.
Embed.
We join your team for a defined engagement. On-site for discovery — walking the floor, sitting in the meetings, learning the systems and the constraints nobody wrote down. Remote for the build, with check-ins where they count.
Build.
We identify the highest-leverage problem and build the solution ourselves with AI-native tooling. No handoffs, no six-month requirements phase. Working software in weeks, shipped into your environment and your accounts.
Transfer.
You keep the code, the infrastructure, the documentation, and the capability. The goal isn’t dependency — it’s that your organization runs differently after the engagement than before it.
Why Billbee
Operator first. Builder always.
Two decades inside healthcare operations.
Quality programs, STARS and CAHPS, payer contracts, value-based care, member engagement. Your domain doesn’t need to be explained — it’s been our day job.
Shipped, not slideware.
Care Scorecard and CareCompass are shipped — live with real members across quality engagement and in-network provider discovery. MemberCapture is in the field now. Cadence — meetings that actually close — was built with the same model. The proof section below is the portfolio.
AI-native speed, regulated-industry discipline.
Weeks to working software — built with an insider’s respect for PHI, HIPAA, security review, and the realities of compliance offices.
Your accounts, your ownership, day one.
Infrastructure is provisioned under your organization’s name and billing from the start — typically a transparent $500–$2,000/month depending on scale — so the transfer is real, not a promise.
Engagements
Three ways in.
Shipped in the field
Autonomous operations in the field.
The same model, already running — Cadence was built this way, and so were Care Scorecard, CareCompass, and the rest of the Arizona Care Network portfolio below.
Who this is for
Built for regulated, complicated, real.
Healthcare networks, payers, and provider organizations navigating quality programs and operational modernization — and any executive in a complex industry done watching AI initiatives die in committee. If a workflow eats staff hours, a member experience leaks value, or a reporting burden grows every quarter, that’s the problem this model exists to solve.
FAQ
Questions worth answering up front.
How is this different from an agency or platform vendor?
Agencies hand you a roadmap; vendors hand you software. Billbee embeds, builds the specific solution your operation needs, and transfers ownership. You end the engagement with a running system and the capability to run it.
What does “embedded” mean day to day?
Discovery is on-site — typically 2–3 days walking your operation. The build runs remote with scheduled working sessions, plus on-site visits at midpoint and delivery. You get an operator in the room when it matters, not a badge in your lobby for six months.
Who owns the code, data, and infrastructure?
You do, from day one. All services — hosting, database, AI APIs, monitoring — are provisioned in your organization’s accounts and billing.
How do you handle PHI and HIPAA?
Architecture is designed for your compliance reality from the start: BAA-tier services where PHI is involved, security review built into the plan, and third-party penetration testing scoped in before anything member-facing ships.
We don’t know which problem to start with. Is that a problem?
That’s exactly what the Diagnostic Sprint is for.
Do you work in other industries?
Yes — all industries are in play. Healthcare is home turf, and we’ve shipped there; manufacturing is another area where the model fits well. Billbee’s advantage isn’t industry templates — it’s the ability to come in, see the forest from the trees, and carve out the value avenues where significant results can actually be realized.
